Rant of the Year: Twilight (Co-written by my sister)

5. Edward scored a 147 on the Original Fiction Mary-Sue/Gary-Stu Litmus Test. To put this into perspective, a 71 will get a character into "Irredeemable-Sue", where said character is considered so perfect that this character should be scrapped. Edward Cullen has more than double that. Therefore, he's a poorly thought-out character in a quadrillion and three ways imaginable.

The state of our government/laws/whatever today
Things we need to change:
1. Legalize same-sex marriage. It's discriminatory for them not to be able to marry. If you're thinking, "Hey, but it's not morally right!", well, let me put it this way, if only gays could marry and straights couldn't, what would you think? You're right - it isn't morally right... that this discrimination is happening. The bigoted morons in government apparently don't care, though. Screw them.
2. Do away with the UPSR. Do we really want to subject a bunch of 12-year-olds to one of the most gruelling exams of their lives? They don't like it, since they're probably not ready. At that age, they should be caring more about what secondary school they go to. The UPSR just takes that away.
3. Dissolve the state government of Kelantan. They are the cesspool of Malaysia. Ridiculous laws get passed all the time. Their state government is turning them into goddamn Saudi Arabia. The idiots who run that air-headed state should be forcibly removed by the government.
4. Abolish the death penalty. Many countries have gotten on just fine without it. Also, the only people who truly deserve the death penalty, in my opinion, are terrorists/suicide bombers, and they usually take care of that, anyway. For really heinous crimes, give them something like 10,000 or 20,000 years in jail, so that parole won't get them out. Also, some should be deported to Alcatraz or Gitmo.

Album name: Inhuman Rampage
As made famous by: DragonForce
Genre: Power metal
Year: 2006
This album is nothing but an onslaught of sheer speed and aggression with World of Warcraft-like themes woven into the lyrics. Sounds bad, you say? Not in the least! All five band members really give it their all on this album. Also, no song on the album is shorter than five minutes long, so all you progressive rock/progressive metal fans out there could be won over to power metal with this album. A future classic, and a gem amongst a sea of crappy modern-day metal bands. (I'm looking at you, System of a Down, Symphony X, and Alien Ant Farm.)
Standout tracks:
Through the Fire and Flames
Yeah, you've probably heard it by now, whether through Guitar Hero 3 or through another means, but it's still great. Big props to Herman Li and Sam Totman for an amazing dual-guitar solo.
Revolution Deathsquad
The longest song on the album, clocking in at 7 minutes and 53 seconds... of insanity. This song is brutally fast, in all the right ways. ZP Theart's outro high almost-screams are awesome. Also, during the solo, you can hear a cheesy but cool-sounding ninja-type riff, as well as some synth insanity.
Storming the Burning Fields
This is Dave Mackintosh's shining star on this album. One on the finest drum performances in metal... ever. The rest of the band doesn't disappoint, though. This is the shortest song on the album, at "only" 5 minutes and 19 seconds.
Trail of Broken Hearts
Nice synth/keyboard intro on this power ballad similar to power ballads by late 80's glam metal bands. ZP Theart's best vocal performance on this album. Also, great guitar solo.
Overall album score: 98%
Pretty damn near perfect.

FUCK MY LIFE.
Yeah, I was going through Sinister Woods in Mystery Dungeon, when I had to go for my Web Design class. But, I was the middle of a fucking boss battle, when I had fucking QUICKSAVED. I lost all my fucking items and money and the game treated it like I had fucking lost in the damn dungeon. Just, fuck it all. Damn game can't recognize a quicksave.

Tortured Soul
He is tortured within
As he suffers from inside
He wants to leave it all behind
He wants to be useful
But always got in the way
He was always unfairly in the wrong
His screams inside are never
Attended to; he is
Truly a tortured soul within
His infinite suffering
Is never attended to
Will he forever be this way?
He thinks that he is a
Spawn of demons, not human,
